Ramos led Spurs to their first piece of silverware in 9 years, after they came from a goal behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley. This was a major ticket sell out as every hardcore Spurs fanatic wanted to witness his/her team lift that trophy. It was a great achievemnt for the club which means that Spurs will also be playing in the UEFA Cup next season, regardless of their league position at the end of this season. Ramos however was not impressed with finishing 11th place and has already started rebuilding his squad by purchasing players such as Luca Modric (signed from Dinamo Zagreb) and Giovani Dos Santos (signed from Barcelona). The club enjoys a long - standing rivalry with near neighbours Arsenal and matches between the two are known as North London Derbies.
